He appeared at the very first Teenage Cancer Trust concert on 27 November 2000, performing with The Who on their song So Sad About Us. He later headlined his own night on behalf of the charity on 9 February 2002, introducing a number of special guests including Robert Plant and Jimmy Page.

Weller made guest appearances at the Teenage Cancer Trust concerts with Jools Holland in 2004, and joined Noel Gallagher for 2 songs in 2007, captured on their live album The Dreams We Have As Children [Available to download on Amazon].

With support from Duffy, Weller headlined another Teenage Cancer Trust concert in 2008, and most recently performed alongside Kelly Jones and Roger Daltrey to open the 2012 series.
