The Beach Boys at the Hall
The Beach Boys have performed at the Hall on only one previous occasion.
A charity fundraiser, The Beach Boys Christmas Concert held on 17 December 1970 saw the band present other acts such as Magna Carta, The Flirtations and The Flame, before performing their own set. The audience included Princess Margaret, Countess Of Snowdon
At the time, the band line-up was Carl Wilson, Dennis Wilson, Mike Love, Al Jardine and Bruce Johnston.
Band leader Brian Wilson has also performed here on one occasion, presenting his solo show on 1 July 2008. His set featured a number of The Beach Boys’ greatest hits including Surfin’ USA and Barbara Ann.
