The group have been riding since June 2010 and their routes take in interesting and historically significant theatres along their way.
The Theatrical Guild
The Theatrical Guild (TTG) is a national charity supporting those that work in theatres.
Previously known as The Theatrical Ladies Guild, it was established in 1891 and is the only charity that works to help backstage and front of house personnel, including offering financial support towards equipment, bills or specialist health care appointments; as well as funds towards the cost of education or retraining.
Typically people that approach TTG have had an accident, are ill or are unable to work for a number of reasons and the charity work to support these people.

First Night Riders
The First Night Riders charity tour of the south west of England kicked off in spectacular style this morning (Friday 22 June) from the Royal Albert Hall.
A number of motorcyclists, along with a Morgan car, started the first phase of their tour, speeding off towards Bristol to visit the city’s Theatre Royal, before visiting the Wiltshire Music Centre. Their route will also take in theatres across Devon and Cornwall, before arriving back in London on Monday.
Riders from all sectors from the entertainment technology industry are taking part in this 3rd ride, which has so far raised more than £21,000 for TTG.
The Royal Albert Hall’s CEO Chris Cotton was there to see the riders off, saying:
“It’s wonderful to see everybody here, and I hope everyone has good tour. The Hall supports First Night Riders and TTG because of the number of events we do here and the huge number of tech people that support every show. It’s essential that we support a very worthy charity that supports all of these individuals.”
A number of notable people from the world of theatre and film, including TTG patrons Keira Knightley and Simon Russell Beale, are lending their support to the First Night Riders and the Hall wishes the riders every success in their fundraising campaign.
