The Royal Albert Hall’s Elgar Room plays host to the Elgar Comedy series, featuring some of the hottest names in contemporary comedy today.

The final evening in this series is at 8.30pm on Wednesday 27 June and features two acts, Tom Deacon and James Acaster, and we have a pair of tickets up for grabs.

Tom Deacon & James Acaster

TOM DEACON (pictured left), the 2007 winner of Chortle’s Student Comedian Award and finalist in the Amused Moose New Act Competition has burst onto the comedy scene drawing all eyes his way with his undeniable stage presence and slick timing.

As of March 2010 Tom has been the host of his own Radio One Show, broadcasting every Sunday from 7pm. Tom can also be seen performing stand up on the new BBC Two showThe Rob Brydon Show.

JAMES ACASTER (pictured right) is touring the country for the first time with a full length show which includes his hilarious Edinburgh solo debut Amongst Other Things and brand new material.

In the last 18 months he has been very busy building up an army of nationwide fans supporting Milton Jones, Jack Whitehall and Sarah Millican on their national tours and has appeared in guest spots on Russell Howard’s Good News, Dave’s One Night Stand and E4′s Show and Tell.
