Emeli Sandé performing at the Hall in 2011, supporting Alicia Keys.

Award-winning and chart-topping superstar Emeli Sandé returns on Sunday 11 November for her first solo show at the Royal Albert Hall.

Tickets go on sale at 9am on Friday 15 June and will be available via www.royalalberthall.com

In the last 12 months, life has changed beyond all recognition for the former medical student from Aberdeen. She has scored two number 2 singles with Heaven and Next To Me and her hugely acclaimed chart-topping debut album, Our Version of Events is the biggest selling debut album of the year, so far landing her over half a million sales.

Proceeds from this show will be donated to youth charity The Prince’s Trust.

This concert will not be Emeli’s first performance at the Royal Albert Hall, having opened for Alicia Keys on 13 June 2011.

In the build up to this concert, Emeli will also be engaging with Royal Albert Hall Education‘s work as part of its own ongoing work in music provision and championing youth music in the UK.

Similar to the work carried out by Metronomy in 2011, Emeli will hold her own exclusive press conference on the day of the concert for budding young journalists.

In addition to this she will be holding a songwriting workshop with young people in October, giving talented young songwriters the unique chance to work alongside a chart-topping recording artist.
