The Albert Sessions is a Royal Albert Hall initiative created in 2008 to encourage younger, emerging bands to play at the Hall.
By offering reduced rental fees it creates an unprecedented opportunity for promoters and gives newer artists the chance to showcase their talent within the Hall’s 5,200 capacity auditorium.
The Hall has so far hosted 2 Albert Sessions, with performances from The Wombats in 2008 and Metronomy in 2011. The next one will be Miloš Karadaglić - Learn more and buy tickets
Additionally, the Albert Sessions is designed to encourage younger fans and music enthusiasts to enjoy and take part in the event. The Hall offers substantially lower ticket prices to attract younger audiences into the building who might not necessarily have the chance to attend a gig within the iconic venue.
The initiative also encourages the artists to support the Hall’s Education work and work with young people, locally and nationally.
